About

A clean, public, AI-readable record of the global routing layer -
built once, maintained forever.

asn.zone aggregates every public registry and routing dataset that describes the internet's number resources. It's free for humans through this site, and powers a JSON API for the apps and pipelines that need the same data programmatically.

What we do

Aggregate the registries

ARIN, RIPE NCC, APNIC, AFRINIC, LACNIC - five registries publish disjoint pieces of the same picture. We normalise them into one schema, joined to CAIDA AS-relationship data and PeeringDB facility records.

Who it's for

Network operators & developers

People doing capacity planning, peering, BGP analysis, due diligence on prefix ownership, or just looking up the holder of an IP. Free for casual use, paid API tiers for production workloads.

How it stays current

Daily ingestion, history kept

Every source has its own ingestion module that runs on a daily or monthly cadence. Snapshots are stamped with a timestamp and source version - nothing gets silently overwritten.

Where the data comes from

Every datapoint on asn.zone is traceable to a public source. We don't scrape, infer, or reconstruct - if a registry doesn't publish it, you won't find it here.

SourceCadenceWhat we use it for
ARIN delegated statsdailyARIN's full delegation file: every ASN, IPv4 block, and IPv6 prefix delegated by ARIN.
RIPE NCC delegated statsdailyRIPE NCC's equivalent delegated file for the Europe / Middle East / Central Asia service region.
APNIC delegated statsdailyAsia-Pacific delegation file from APNIC.
AFRINIC delegated statsdailyAfrica-region delegation file from AFRINIC.
LACNIC delegated statsdailyLatin America & Caribbean delegation file from LACNIC.
RIR transfer logsdailyPer-day transfer files from ARIN, RIPE, and APNIC. Each row records a resource changing organization.
CAIDA AS-RankmonthlyAS-relationship inferences (customer, provider, peer) for every routed ASN.
CAIDA AS-OrganizationsmonthlyASN to human-readable organization name mapping. Critical for resolving the new opaque RIR org-IDs.
PeeringDBdailyIX, facility, and netfac records for the global peering ecosystem.
IPXO GeolocationmonthlyConsensus IPv4 / IPv6 to country / city geolocation across ten upstream geo databases, sourced via IPXO.
Built and operated by IPXO
asn.zone is an IPXO project. IPXO (Internet Protocol Exchange Organization) is a Lithuania-based company that operates the asn.zone project. The asn.zone team maintains the data pipeline, the API, and the public website independently of the commercial IPXO platform - the site never references customer data, transactional activity, or IPXO's commercial platform.

Want to integrate?

The free tier is enough for most uses. Paid tiers add rate limit headroom and SLAs.
